Our resident super sleuth Jez McCole has spotted an issue with the business rules for this year's Flu Season. The code 65ED is no longer valid for claiming flu administration. Practices may have coded a few folk with 65ED (822851000000102) already. Jez has uploaded a search which will show you who and the attached protocol can be used, if you choose, against those patients to reference the new code (65ED4, 985151000000100). That will be dated the DAY you batch run the protocol but the associated text will reference the information of the actual vaccine date. These are all found on the EMIS Users FB page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1554447768213667/?ref=share
We are delighted to have been shortlisted for technology provider of the year at this year's General Practice Awards Ceremony. Thank you to everybody who voted for us!
New free tool available! After discussion on Twitter with Julia Hippisley-Cox and Pancreatic Cancer Action we have developed a tool to alert users of EMIS to the possibility of a cancer risk. This is in keeping with NICE guidelines. This is free to download and use within your practice. Simply fill out the form below and we'll send you the tool.

Dr Mark Popple won our competition for an idea for a handy protocol with his suggestion for a DOAC initiation protocol. We’re going to build this and share when completed. Bottle of champagne winging its way to Dr Popple
